People deal too much with the negative, with what is wrong.
Why not try and see positive things, to just touch those things and make them bloom?
Thich Nhat Hanh
Therapy can fall prey to the medical model of looking for and diagnosing pathologies.
When that happens, we lock ourselves or others into a static and often hopeless “box”.
We become judges of right and wrong. We only focus on what is negative.
What we think, we become.
Thinking of ourselves as wrong or negative: we actually become more negative.
When we focus on the positive instead: the life giving, the healing, the many possibilities and the ever-renewing flow of our life,
when we touch and feel all those, then we suddenly see and touch blossoming new life.
As what we feel, we attract.
When therapy becomes a safe space of exploring and imagining new possibilities.
And instead of judging ourselves, we will focus on the alive parts in our body, mind and spirit -and we will begin to heal.
As what we imagine, we create.
